Regular Full‑Time. Madison Heights, MI, US.

Salary Range: $16.00 per hour.

We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands from $500MM to $1+B in the next 2 years through a combination of organic growth, e-commerce, innovation, and M&A. We have an opening for a Blending Operator who will be an important member of the supply‑chain team during this growth. The position is located at the Kar’s Nuts Products facility at 1200 East 14 Mile in Madison Heights, Michigan.

As a Blending Operator you will assist in creating blends/recipes for our Kars and Second Nature products and contribute to maintaining production efficiency.

• Ensure high food safety standards by inspecting and removing non‑conforming materials.
• Correctly rotate inventory to reduce the likelihood of spoilage.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts by recording all essential information.
• Load and unload materials by hand and by using a Hi‑Lo machine.
• Safely and effectively operate a Hi‑Lo truck.
• Clean blending equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
• Understand cleaning processes and complete cleaning verification logs.
• Work with team lead and supervisor to hit performance targets.
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• English proficient.
• Positive, self‑directed attitude.
• Ability to work well with peers and supervisors.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to keep production running efficiently.
• Preferred:
  Ability to operate a Hi‑Lo truck.

• Stand, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods.
• Walk up and down stairs frequently.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company.

• Work near moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level may be high; PPE may be required.
• Indoor food manufacturing setting.
