Plus Fridays and Weekends for possible overtime as needed

There is a possibility of being transferred to 2nd shift depending on experience level and business needs.

2nd Shift - 3:15PM-1:15AM
- Monday-Thursday

About the role of Maintenance Technician: The Maintenance Technician's purpose is ensure machinery in the plant runs efficiently and optimally. Maintenance technicians will have experience working in a variety of systems and know how to diagnose, maintain, and repair different types of machinery within hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

  • Visually inspect and tests machinery and equipment
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools
  • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
  • Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures
  • Operates Hilo and diagnose Hilo problems

Additional skills and/or experience required for success in the role of a Maintenance Technician:

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Able to use hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, etc.
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Able to commit to perfect attendance during the training schedule
  • Able to read job instructions
  • Able to complete required paperwork
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and sit as needed throughout the day
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
