R&D Technical Assistant

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a R&D Technical Assistant for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Madison Heights, MI.

Details for the position are as follows:

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Madison Heights, MI.

Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00/hr

Duration: 5 Months

• Perform laboratory procedures including preparation of routine solutions, reagents, and chemical reactions.
• Conduct laboratory support activities such as stocking supplies, setting up and dismantling laboratory equipment, and maintaining glassware.
• Record observations, perform basic calculations, and prepare laboratory data for analysis.
• Perform technical procedures in assigned laboratory areas following quality and regulatory standards.
• Support compound analysis and corporate compound collection management, as required.

• High School Diploma with significant laboratory experience, or
• Associate's Degree (2-year) in a scientific discipline.

• Laboratory reagent and solution preparation.
• Laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.
• Laboratory documentation and technical recordkeeping.
• Compound analysis and sample handling.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality and regulatory compliance.
• Experience performing routine laboratory testing and technical procedures.

• Experience managing laboratory compound collections.
• Familiarity with laboratory inventory and supply management.
• Ability to develop technical hypotheses based on laboratory observations.
