Experienced Meat Cutter

This location requires you to be at least 18 years of age.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Meat Cutter to join our team. The Meat Cutter will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and processing a variety of meats, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of meat cuts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for sale, including beef, poultry, pork, and lamb.
• Operate cutting tools and machinery, such as band saws, knives, and grinders.
• Ensure all meat products are cut to customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and tools.
• Monitor and track inventory levels of meat products and supplies.
• Assist customers with meat selections and provide cooking tips or recommendations when needed.
• Follow all safety and health regulations regarding the handling and storage of meat products.
• Package and label meat products for display or customer orders.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

• Previous experience as a meat cutter or butcher required.
• Ability to work with sharp knives and heavy-duty machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy products and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Weekends and holidays are mandatory as they are Holiday Market’s busiest times.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications and discussed during the interview.
