• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, inspecting before use and following safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks, preparing trucks for unloading.
• Accurately receive all donated merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Lift, reserve, and drop pallets of merchandise to and from the overhead steel and the sales floor.
• Prepare pallets for safe reserving by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, materials, and pallets safely throughout the club, utilizing a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and food merchandise, ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
• Handle damaged or spoiled merchandise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized club by removing trash and cardboard and performing general maintenance duties.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings, and return merchandise to the sales floor.
• Greet all members, provide prompt and courteous service, help members locate merchandise, and maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work in other departments as needed.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

The role involves standing and moving continuously on hard surfaces, frequent bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Lifting of objects up to 30 pounds is frequent; heavier loads may be required with assistance. The work environment is generally comfortable but surrounded by moving machinery and loud equipment that may require shouting to be heard. Occasional exposure to temperature extremes in freezer or cooler units and cleaning agents may occur.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position starts at $16.75. Actual salaries may vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
