Salary
: $65,000.00 to $75,000 based on ACCS Board of Trustees Salary Schedule C-3 and experience.

The Fiscal Analyst/Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records for the College. This position performs key accounting functions including bank and investment reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis, grant accounting, and cash management. The role also supports financial reporting and assists with audits to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile all bank accounts to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Reconcile investment accounts and record related activity
  • Prepare and post journal entries as required
  • Analyze balance sheet accounts and make appropriate adjustments
  • Record, analyze, and bill for various grants in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Analyze daily cash activity and assist with cash management projections
  • Assist in the preparation of the College’s financial statements
  • Provide support to the College’s auditors during audits
  • Assist federal, state, and local auditors by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Serve on various college committees as assigned
  • Monitor and analyze assigned financial accounts
  • Perform related duties as required to support departmental and institutional operations
  • Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

    Experience: Minimum of two years of related accounting or financial experience required
