Our client, a multinational technology consulting company, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team in Madison, AL. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the project management team supporting large-scale data center development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Madison, AL (100% Client Onsite)
Pay Range: $85-95/hr.
Job Type: 7-month Contract with possibility for extension
Schedule: 40 hours/wk. plus possible OT
What's the Job?- Manage day-to-day activities with General Contractors and Telecomm Partners to ensure project milestones are met.
- Drive innovative solutions to support business unit goals and KPIs, maintaining focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, including contractors, trade partners, and suppliers.
- Contribute to project planning by providing input into constructability and assisting in schedule creation and maintenance.
- Escalate key issues promptly for coordination with campus construction management and facilities operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferably with large-scale projects ($100M+).
- Proven experience managing general contractors and trade partners effectively.
- Field experience in commercial construction, especially in data centers, mission‑critical facilities, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud is a plus.
