• Creative, patient, and resourceful mindset
• Proficiency in progress monitoring, data collection, and collaborative team planning

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and implement life skills curricula that foster growth in daily living, social, and vocational skills for students K-12
• Modify activities and lessons to accommodate individual abilities and IEP requirements
• Create an inclusive, motivating, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including paraprofessionals and therapists, to deliver effective interventions
• Maintain thorough student records and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to support student progress and engagement
• Utilize positive behavioral support techniques to reinforce appropriate classroom behaviors
