Position Overview:
We're searching for a Special Education Teacher for Calera Elementary in Montevallo, AL. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, running through May 23, 2025. The position involves inclusion support for students with moderate behavioral needs.
- Develop and manage IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with general education staff to deliver inclusive instruction.
- Adapt lesson plans to accommodate different learning needs.
- Evaluate and report on student progress consistently.
- Create a positive and inclusive educational environment.
- Must hold a valid Alabama Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Experience working with moderate behavioral needs preferred.
- Strong skills in IEP creation and implementation.
