Part-time County-wide Instructional Interventionist
2 – 5 days (depending on location)
Provide instruction to individual students and small groups in collaboration with the classroom teacher. Use district-approved research-based interventions that focus on the individual needs of students. Using sources of data, including online comprehensive assessments for universal screening, progress monitoring, and goal setting to plan appropriate instruction to advance skills to grade-level. Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to identify best practices for students and small groups.
Continuously monitor student performance and document progress. Communicate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress. Provide performance data to school teams as needed. Assist with identifying students for placement in intervention groups. Participate in meetings with teachers, administration, and families to discuss student placement and progress. Provide diagnostic assessment for students as needed. Plan and accomplish personal professional growth in core subject interventions.
Participate in professional growth activities provided by district. Demonstrate professional ethics. Demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communications. Exhibit positive human-relation skills. Any and other essential functions assigned by the Superintendent
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or two years of study at an institution of higher learning
Salary:
Contract ($150.00 daily rate)
