- Become an expert on Curriculum Associates' online diagnostic and instruction program and Common Core product for grades K-8
- Coordinate on-site product training and professional development courses for teachers and school administrators
- Adjust professional development workshops to participants' needs within specified parameters
- Deliver professional development on implementing Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning
- Provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning, pacing support, data analysis, instructional application, and implementation assessment
- Participate in internal professional improvement and development, including observation, feedback, and coaching
- Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments on time
- Present a professional image to customers and prospects
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Professional Learning, sales team, and other Curriculum Associates professionals
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development
- Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K-8, or comparable state standards
- Fluency with digital tools including online assessments
- Comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders
- Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development
- Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Computer and internet skills, including Outlook, Word, and Power Point
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational cohort
- Must live within 30 miles from the posting area
- Must currently live in or be open to relocating to North Alabama
- Must have own transportation
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, and/or public transportation
Demonstrates expertise in the Common Core State Standards for Grades K-8 and proficiency in delivering tailored professional development and training for educators. Capable of applying adult learning principles and utilizing digital tools to enhance instructional practices and data analysis.
