Job Summary
Full‑time NAS-410 Level II PT/MT/UTT /ET Technician to support our Huntsville, AL office. Permanent position; no per diem unless traveling.
Responsibilities- Perform NDT examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Certify as a NAS-Level II PT/MT/UTT/ET Technician.
- Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations.
- Work independently and support team members; perform other job‑related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
- Certifiable to NAS-410 Level II PT/MT/UTT and ET.
- Documented classroom hours and OJT/experience hours for each method.
- Additional NDT certifications or at least experience in RT preferred.
- Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Pass drug screen and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
- Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man‑baskets, etc.
- Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
- Work around operating equipment and industrial environments.
- Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
- Work shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, and travel for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
