SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. We are opening a new campus facility that will have two of our businesses (Marley and Ingenia Technologies) evolving and growing together at SPX's very first campus.

As a Senior Engineer I – Product Development, you will be working in a design and development role across engineering disciplines for complex projects across various product lines, components, controls, and materials. Responsibilities include a mix of product design and coordinating teams internally and externally to develop cost-effective new products, directing the work of engineers, technicians, and designers, ensuring integrity and compliance with codes and standards.

Additionally, tasks involve software / control logic development, performing tests, technical bid evaluations, expediting vendor processes, and developing project plans. Success in this position requires extensive engineering experience, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges. This role encourages innovation and continuously improves efficiency of technical support, monitors advances of technology and competition, and supports global and acquisition-related technical issues in areas of expertise.

Onsite office environment, Monday – Friday;
Hybrid work schedule available after satisfactory completion of probationary period. Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time. The position may require working occasionally outside normal work hours.
