We are seeking a Engineering Staff Associate to join our growing team, contributing to diverse projects across environmental, civil, geotechnical, geostructural, and construction material testing disciplines. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and progress towards professional licensure.

You will be a vital part of our project teams, supporting senior staff and learning the ins and outs of engineering consulting from the ground up.

Our Regional Quality Assurance group focuses on serving projects for our solid waste, mining, and power industry clients. These projects span a multitude of quality assurance support roles, from geotechnical exploration in support of design development to quality assurance testing and documentation during construction, as well as some longer-term monitoring of containment systems, groundwater and gas monitoring support, stability analysis, and more.

Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a closely related field of study from an ABET-accredited institution.

0-2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in relevant fields

Currently in progress towards obtaining Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification.

Required to travel regularly to local and regional project sites (typically within South Carolina and surrounding states), potentially including overnight stays and perform extensive fieldwork under varying environmental conditions, including adverse weather, uneven terrain, and potentially hazardous environments, while adhering strictly to health and safety protocols.
