Deal Advisory Senior Associate

Overview

Cherry Bekaert is a leading accounting and consulting firm. This senior associate position is within the National Deal Advisory practice that focuses on M&A activities for private‑equity clients and strategic corporations.

• Perform buy‑side and sell‑side accounting and financial due diligence engagements.
• Develop relationships with clients and engage in effective interactions with target company executives.
• Perform quality‑of‑earnings and working‑capital analyses.
• Identify and evaluate matters that may impact enterprise value and the purchase or sale price.
• Identify and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies.
• Communicate findings effectively, both verbally and in written reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably with financial due diligence, audit, financial reporting, or accounting advisory work (Big4 or comparable).
• Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, data analysis/mining, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to travel (
