Labcorp is seeking a Sample Coordinator III to join our team in Madison, WI
.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Responsibilities- Performs any combination of sample management tasks, including labeling, shipping, transferring, inventorying, archiving, and disposing.
- Reviews sample paperwork against samples to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Solves problems independently, contacting internal or external clients for clarification as needed.
- Communicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriate.
- Handles internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
- Distributes sample information and paperwork.
- Responsible for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems.
- Introduces and helps develop improvement ideas for the group, with senior personnel or Management.
- Assists in training new employees, working with and directing less experienced staff, and prioritizing workloads and/or special projects on a daily basis. Oversees and reviews work of peers as appropriate.
- Takes action for the department when additional responsibilities and opportunities are presented.
- Maintains storage units.
- Certified as an authorized environmental system monitor and after hours responder, as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience in Sample Handling
