Director of Housekeeping

Sky Bridge Luxury & Associates is conducting a confidential search for an accomplished Director of Housekeeping on behalf of a distinctive lifestyle hotel in a historic Southern city. This is an exceptional opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader with a proven background in luxury hospitality to lead all housekeeping operations while driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and delivering an elevated guest experience.

This executive leadership opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional whose leadership experience has been built within luxury hotels or luxury lifestyle properties. The D
irector of Housekeeping will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service while creating an exceptional environment for both guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Housekeeping and Laundry operations.
• Foster a culture of exceptional hospitality, accountability, and service excellence.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing housekeeping team.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently reflect the highest luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Oversee labor management, scheduling, departmental budgeting, forecasting, and productivity.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other operational departments to ensure room readiness and an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain quality assurance programs and conduct routine inspections to ensure luxury-level operational excellence.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, sanitation requirements, and operating procedures.
• Respond proactively to guest concerns while driving continuous improvements in guest satisfaction.

The Ideal Background Includes

• Recent leadership experience within a luxury hotel or luxury lifestyle property is required.
• Five or more years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience within an upscale, lifestyle, full-service, or luxury hotel.
• Demonstrated understanding of luxury service standards and the expectations of discerning guests.
• Proven success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing departmental budgets, labor, forecasting, and operational performance.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining luxury-level cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• A visible, hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality, personalized service, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Experience working within Forbes Travel Guide standards or a comparable luxury service environment is strongly preferred.

Competitive base salary up to $95,000, bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits package, and relocation assistance.
