Position Overview
This Data Analyst supports threat analysis operations within the supply chain risk management program, focusing on the offensive/threat side to identify vulnerabilities, map adversary supply chain dependencies, assess geopolitical exposure, and discover points of failure before exploitation.
The role reports to the Director of Operations & Implementation and requires on‑site work in either Huntsville, AL or the Washington, DC Metro Area. Limited telework may be permitted based on customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute supply chain vulnerability assessments for assigned programs and weapons systems.
- Conduct adversary supply chain mapping to identify foreign ownership, control, and influence (FOCI) indicators.
- Produce threat assessment products documenting identified vulnerabilities, severity ratings, and exploitation pathways.
- Develop and execute scenario‑based stress assessments for supply chain disruption events.
- Model supplier capacity loss scenarios and estimate impact on program timelines and readiness.
- Conduct deep‑diving research on long‑lead components, sole‑source parts, and critical materials.
- Identify obsolescence risks, diminishing manufacturing sources, and counterfeit indicators.
- Analyze geopolitical exposure for supply chain entities across assigned programs.
- Maintain the vulnerability pipeline with prioritization, status tracking, and handoff to the mitigation team.
- Contribute to recurring reports, control tower briefing materials, and annual vulnerability summaries.
- Document research methodology, maintain source attribution records, and evidence packages.
- Support transition documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in threat analysis, intelligence analysis, risk assessment, supply chain investigation, or operations research.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python/pandas, SQL, or equivalent).
- Experience producing threat assessments, vulnerability analysis products, or structured analytic products.
- Familiarity with adversary network analysis, geopolitical risk, FOCI assessment, or supply chain disruption analysis.
- Strong analytic writing, research methodology, and briefing material development skills.
- Ability to conduct structured research, maintain evidence documentation, and work to production cadence.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Currently located in Huntsville, AL or the Washington, DC Metro area.
- Experience with defense intelligence analysis or counterintelligence support.
- Familiarity with FOCI screening, CFIUS processes, or sanctions screening.
- Experience with open‑source intelligence (OSINT) research methods.
- Familiarity with defense parts databases (GIDEP, FED‑LOG) or DMSMS analysis.
- Experience with scenario modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, or network analysis tools.

Salary range: $62,410.00–$
