IT Specialist Job (In-Person) – $65,000 to $68,000 per Year Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic and technology-driven organization.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support, manage computer systems, and maintain IT
infrastructure to ensure seamless daily operations. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver with
strong communication skills and hands-on experience in operating systems, networking, and IT support tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain computer systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Configure and support networking solutions including LAN, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure using tools such as BMC Remedy, Service Now, and Jira.
  • Assist with server setup, maintenance, and network device configuration.
  • Apply system updates, security patches, and vulnerability prevention measures.
  • Support help desk operations and document technical issues accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement new IT solutions.
  • Maintain IT documentation, configurations, and asset inventories.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in IT or technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office, VPNs, firewalls, and LAN configurations.
  • Familiarity with IT support and ticketing tools such as BMC Remedy, Service Now, and Jira.
  • Understanding of computer hardware components and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for supporting non‑technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast‑paced team environments.
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSE are preferred but not required.
Salary Information

Pay Range: $65,000 – $68,000 per year
