Principal Research Scientist III, S2

Purpose of the Position

The Principal Research Scientist III will perform funded research. The incumbent will also serve as the IT and cybersecurity SME for SAP and SCI programs at PEO M&S.

• Perform funded research
• Serve as the IT and cybersecurity SME for SAP and SCI programs at PEO M&S
• Ensure IT and cybersecurity best practices are followed by providing technical guidance, managing audits and supporting security inspections
• Implement and execute RMF cybersecurity controls to protect SAP and SCI-level information systems and data

• Ph.D. with 30-36 months (2.5-3 years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 10+ years information systems security experience
• 2+ years cybersecurity support of PEO M&S
• US citizenship is required

• Ph.D. with 36+ months (3+ years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 12+ years information systems security experience
• 3+ years cybersecurity support of PEO M&S. RMF for DoD

$130,255 - $135,000
