Senior Decision Analyst

Responsibilities

• leading the development of reporting & insights on Huntington Bank’s portfolios
• facilitate effective decision making
• become an expert in providing data support and analysis
• help define strategy and tactics to meet portfolio goals
• partnering with leadership and product managers
• deliver KPIs & standard reporting to Senior Bank leadership
• ownership over ad-hoc analysis/insights needed to grow Huntington’s Digital reach
• identify and lead opportunities to standardize across business lines and improve coding practices and analytical techniques

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, mathematical disciplines, finance, economics, or other technical degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics/data analysis
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services (preferred)
• Strong knowledge and working experience in database querying with SQL
• Strong knowledge and working experience in data manipulation tools such as R, or Python
• Experience presenting analytical findings to a non-technical audience to guide business decision-making
• Advanced degree (Master's, Ph.D., JD, etc.) (preferred)
• Experience working with data mining models, structures, theories, principles, and practices, including machine learning, statistics and text mining techniques
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau
• Experience with AWS Sagemaker and Athena
• Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel and Power Point
