Onbase Administrator, IT​/Tech

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking an experienced OnBase Administrator/Developer III to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise content solutions system. You will be one of four primary point‑of‑contacts for system administration, workflow design, and user support, ensuring document management operations run securely and efficiently.

• System Administration:
  Manage, configure, upgrade, and maintain the OnBase environment across Development, Test, and Production instances.
• Solution Development:
  Design, create, deploy and support OnBase solutions, including Work View applications, life cycles, workflows, and document templates. Incorporate ADA compliance into the development process.
• System Integrations:
  Configure OnBase API, Unity, Scan Queues, IdS, DIP, Docusign, Topaz Signature pads, Share Base, and Hyland API Server (REST API).
• User Support:
  Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, identifying root causes to provide permanent solutions.
• Maintenance & Upgrades:
  Perform regular system monitoring, Scheduler Services, IIS, data integrity checks, software upgrades, documentation, and provide end‑user training to various business units.

• Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in Hyland OnBase administration, configuration, engineering, system tasks, custom queries, Advanced Capture, and forms development.
• OnBase Certified System Administrator or OnBase Certified Installer certification required. OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator or OnBase Certified Workflow Engineer certification also required.
• Proficiency in OnBase Configuration, Studio, Unity Management Console, and API development (RESTful, SOAP). Ability to provide ongoing OnBase technical support, daily incident, change management, and system administration responsibilities.
• Strong skills writing custom queries in Oracle and SQL Server; experience performing OnBase system upgrades.
• Self‑starter with a sense of urgency, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work independently in a versatile environment.
• Must reside in the State of Wisconsin.
• Nice to have:
  OnBase Work View Certification and OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface certification; familiarity with VBScript, Power Shell, C# .NET, SQL, REST API, and HTML.
