Senior AI and Data Architect

Overview

The Senior AI and Data Architect is a recognized expert in the technical and functional application of Agentforce for enterprise customer engagements. This role influences architecture and delivery of complex Agentforce projects and drives internal knowledge scaling. It sits within CSG Professional Services, on the Data Excellence team, with responsibilities split between customer-facing work and enabling internal employees on Agentforce.

• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on Salesforce Agentforce for internal teams and enterprise customers, providing deep insight into capabilities, technical architecture, applications, and limitations.
• Advise on optimal use cases, implementation patterns, and when alternative or complementary solutions are appropriate.
• Act as an escalation point for critical or complex Agentforce project challenges, diagnosing issues and guiding teams toward solutions.
• Lead the technical design and hands-on development of Agentforce solutions, including creating/editing agents, prompts, topics, actions, flows, and necessary Apex and SOQL code.
• Partner with customers and account teams to assess business challenges, define solution scope, and articulate the business value of proposed solutions.
• Lead mentorship and enablement programs, deliver technical content, document reference architectures, build reusable assets, and run internal training sessions.
• Maintain expertise on the Agentforce product roadmap and the broader generative AI landscape through ongoing learning.
• Provide Voice of the Customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence product enhancements.
• Collaborate with GTM counterparts during pre-sales to provide technical validation and shape future services offerings related to Agentforce and AI.
• Manage multiple client engagements (typically 2–3) with a utilization target of 50%.

• Practical, hands-on Agentforce experience guiding customers on the technology.
• Salesforce AI Specialist certification and Agent blazer Innovator status.
• Experience with AI data integration technologies (RAG, vector databases, search indexes, knowledge bases) and grounding Agentforce solutions with enterprise data.
• Strong understanding of data management for structured and unstructured data within Salesforce ecosystem (CRM, Data Cloud) and external systems; experience with ETL/ELT and data governance.
• Knowledge of the LLM landscape, tooling ecosystem, and frontier models relevant to enterprise AI deployments.
• Salesforce experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud; related certifications are a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts using visualization and modeling aids; capable of creating diagrams and documents.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Security, and Data Privacy concepts;
