Sr. Operations Manager

Our Sr. Operations Managers are responsible for budgetary, people development and operations objectives across the fulfillment center.

• Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change and Lean initiatives to support the functional area and the FC.
• Oversee safety, quality, performance and customer experience for inbound or outbound operations.
• Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance, provide feedback and hold managers accountable.
• Source and nurture ideas from Operations and Area Managers; incorporate into improvement plans.
• Ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and the network.
• Collaborate with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT) and other Sr. Ops Managers to secure resources for initiatives.

• Lift and move up to 49‑pound totes
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching, both below waist and above head
• Walk throughout the FC, which is over a quarter mile in length
• Stand or walk an average of 5 miles daily
• Work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, not air‑conditioned
• Access all areas of building (ascending/descending ladders, stairs, gangways) safely

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in manufacturing, production or distribution
• Full staffing cycle experience: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, termination
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
• Interest in long‑term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation
• Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field and MBA preferred
• Experience with contingent workforce during peak seasons
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment under stress

• Base salary range: USD  –  annually (US, AL, Tanner)
