Job Summary:

Lead front‑line manufacturing operations for advanced ceramic components at our Huntsville facility. Oversee hourly employee populations, manage shop‑floor activities, and ensure high quality and reliability in a lean, safe environment.

• Manage and coach front‑line manufacturing employees.
• Spend 75% of time on the shop floor, maintaining strong coaching and follow‑up.
• Apply lean production systems and problem‑solving tools such as 5‑Why and Fishbone diagrams.
• Collaborate with EHS and quality functions to meet plant goals.
• Maintain and broaden technical discipline knowledge to support policy and strategy.
• Make decisions within defined frameworks, consulting senior team members when necessary.
• Serve as a primary interface between customers and GE for customer‑facing roles.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma / GED with 4+ years of manufacturing experience).
