Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Soldering Technician in Madison, AL. Our client is an Electronics Manufacturing Service provider. The Soldering Technician is responsible for hanging out feeders and identifying components according to work instructions; will also troubleshoot and correct problems; effectively communicate with other team members on a daily basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is a must.

• Perform light SMT touch-ups and minor PCB repairs
• Assist with final product assembly as needed
• Must have hands-on soldering ability
• Able to identify electronic components and read part markings
• Comfortable working under a microscope for detailed tasks
• Works well in a team setting and follows clear written directions
• Must be willing to work overtime when required

• At least two years of experience working in an electronics production or assembly environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• IPC-610 or J-STD-001 training or certification is a plus
