We’re seeking a hands‑on Stamping Engineer Specialist to support high-volume automotive production in a fast‑paced Tier 1 environment. This role focuses on large‑tonnage press operations, process optimization, and independent project ownership.
What You’ll Do:- Support and optimize 3,000-ton transfer presses and 1,000-ton blanking presses
- Troubleshoot forming issues (splits, wrinkles, spring back, dimensional variation)
- Drive process improvements to reduce scrap, improve OEE, and increase uptime
- Work cross‑functionally with tooling, quality, and maintenance teams
- Support PLC‑controlled press systems (Mitsubishi experience a plus)
- 3–5 years of engineering experience (automotive stamping preferred)
- Large press experience (transfer & blanking)
- PLC experience required
- Strong process improvement background
- Ability to self‑manage and drive results independently
Experience supporting OEMs such as Ford Motor Company, General Motors, or Stellantis is a plus.
