1st Shift Injection Mold Maintenance Technician

BASIC FUNCTION: Daikyo Nishikawa (DNUS) Inc. is looking for an Injection Mold Maintenance Technician to join our Team in Madison, Alabama. The successful candidate will be working independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. This candidate will also be involved with equipment installations and facility maintenance.

• Provide support to the manufacturing processes by repairing industrial equipment, including Injection Molding, Material Conveyance Systems, Water Temperature control system and related systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform Kaizen activities.
• Perform Inventory Audit for Spare Parts and Inventory
• Support Tooling Projects and PMs as needed

• Education as an industrial mechanic, electrician, electro‑mechanical technician, or comparable experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, ladder diagrams, and flow charts.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC knowledge required. Robotics knowledge is a plus.
• Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with production staff.
