As the Assembly Manager, you will play a crucial role in scheduling, supervising staff, optimizing processes (using Lean principles), and managing resources efficiently to deliver finished goods. You will act as a bridge between production staff and management, ensuring continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

• Production Management: Planning, scheduling, and executing daily assembly operations to meet customer demand and ensure on-time completion.
• Quality & Compliance: Monitoring production to meet product specifications, investigating root causes of defects, and enforcing safety regulations.
• Leadership: Training, mentoring, supervising, and motivating assembly workers.
• Process Improvement: Applying Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase productivity, and lower costs.
• Resource Coordination: Managing materials, inventory, and equipment maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Reporting: Preparing production reports, tracking KPIs, and reporting to senior management.

• 5-10 years in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and operating machinery.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Experience with new facility start-up and change management implementation.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and associated safety hazards, especially for assembly or large products and the use of overhead cranes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex safety concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate, influence, and coach stakeholders at varying organizational levels.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in software for safety reporting, data analysis, and documentation.
• Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and creating summary tables, pivot tables, and reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Certified Safety Professional (preferred).
• First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
