Our client hiring for Assembler positions at both entry-level (Assembler
1) and mid-level (Assembler
2) within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment in Madison, AL. These roles support the production and assembly of mechanical and electronic components used in advanced systems. Depending on experience, candidates will be placed in the appropriate level based on skill set, technical ability, and hands‑on experience. All positions require onsite work on a 4X10 schedule (Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm). This is a precision‑driven environment where attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality are essential.
- Perform assembly of mechanical and/or electronic components and subassemblies
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment to complete production tasks
- Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Conduct visual and/or detailed quality inspections to ensure product accuracy
- Perform continuity checks, testing, rework, and modifications as needed (based on level)
- Assemble and route components such as wires, cables, panels, boards, and modules
- Maintain compliance with safety standards including ESD and FOD requirements
- Support production goals by working collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to work onsite in Madison, AL
- Ability to work a 4O10 schedule (Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
- 6 months to 2 years of assembly or production experience
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read simple diagrams or work instructions
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on assembly experience in electronics or mechanical manufacturing
- Experience with soldering (J-STD-001 certification preferred)
- Experience with SMT, wire harnessing, or precision electronic assembly
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Experience using microscopes for precision assembly work
- High school diploma or equivalent required
