A leading Japanese company is seeking a bilingual Production / Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will work closely with production teams and suppliers while driving engineering projects and troubleshooting activities in a manufacturing environment.

• Lead and manage production/manufacturing engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure project success
• Provide technical support for production-related issues and process improvements
• Travel to manufacturing sites and customer locations as required
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Full-time position
• Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments
• Frequent travel to manufacturing facilities (50%+ travel required)

• Associate’s degree required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production/manufacturing engineering or industrial/manufacturing project management
• Project management experience preferred
• Hands‑on mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred
• Experience with PLC, HMI, Robot, and FA components programming/troubleshooting preferred
• CAD experience (AutoCAD) preferred
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Native-level Japanese proficiency or JLPT N1 certification (required)
