JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a AUTOMOTIVE ASSEMBLER in Madison AL
. Our client l produces interior and exterior plastic-injected parts and various sub-assemblies for an Automotive Supplier.

The AUTOMOTIVE ASSEMBLER is responsible:

Perform a specific task or a number of predetermined tasks in any process as instructed

Perform repetitive tasks such as attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts to the main product as it moves through the production line or lifting of component parts

Prepare parts for shipment

Perform duties of shipping, receiving, and material handling

Notify Team Leader of defective parts, equipment, tools, materials, nonstandard assembly work or other conditions, which hinder the assembly process

Participate in group meetings in order to exchange any job related information and maintain consistent quality standards.

Ensure that time, material, and waste are minimized

Perform other duties as required, ensuring that the Client meets or exceeds customer expectations and needs

Must be punctual and adhere to a strict attendance policy

Requirements of a AUTOMOTIVE ASSEMBLER include:

Strong attention to detail

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Strong hand-eye coordination

Ability to operate various assembly tools

Sufficient physical reflexes and personal mobility

Must be a team player and communicate effectively with all team members, and convey issues to Supervisor immediately

Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
