Production Supervisor

Job Description

TRC is seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor for an exciting opportunity with a leading client in the automotive industry.

This individual would be working in tandem with the management team to drive efficiency and excellence on the production floor. They will be at the forefront of innovation and quality, leading a motivated team to achieve peak performance and maintain the high standards that define our industry.

• Day shift
• Salary range- 65,000+ based on experience.

• Supervise and ensure the quality system is maintained during manufacturing operations.
• Review and verify operator inspection and production check sheets.
• Maintain and update the schedule board and coordinate activities during mold changes.
• Directly supervise employees within the manufacturing department.
• Provide input to the Plant Manager on employee performance
• Administer first-line disciplinary actions and address employee concerns and issues.
• Schedule workforce according to daily production demands.
• Document employee attendance and manage vacation time records.
• Conduct work instruction and safety training for employees, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies and procedures.
• Lead initiatives for Continuous Improvement, including 5S methodology and scrap reduction.
• Ensure compliance with TS16949 standards within manufacturing and material handling processes.
• Maintain adherence to safety, labor, and governmental regulations in all aspects of manufacturing and material handling.

• College diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in injection molding.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Forklift/ Crane, Propane Handling Certification.
• Certification in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
