Production Generalist

We have an immediate need for a hands-on, customer-driven Production Generalist in Madison, AL
. This position is responsible for providing leadership to safely meet production goals.

Starting rate is $22.50 for 1 st shift and $22.50 + $1.00 shift differential for 2 nd shift

• Track team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, productivity
  Countermeasure KPI’s for quality defects, performance, safety, productivity
  issues
• Implement kaizens in assigned area(s) and promote continuous improvement
  (including new ideas, projects and practices)
• Enforce policies, procedures, and practices
• Monitor safety and enforce safety protocol in assigned area
• Oversee TPM/PM (daily checks) on equipment
• Approve timekeeping records for assigned group(s)
• Act as liaison between Vuteq and corresponding department group leader at
  MTMUS
• Report on supplier part problems to Quality Department
• Review defects at MTMUS
• Oversee and maintain 5S of assigned area(s)
• Evaluate processes for improvement ideas
  
  Work directly with the Production Manager to perform other duties as assigned
• In downtime and as required, assist with other departments needs

This position requires physical exertion. The employee will regularly walk and
frequently stand, walk, reach, or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or
move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
