RN Weekend Float - Madison Hospital Staffing 1st Shift

Responsibilities

Maintains established standards of care, policies, objective, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, plans and delegates care based on patient needs, evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes, and is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license; BLS for Healthcare Providers obtained during orientation; ACLS obtained within first six months and maintained current.
• Required experience (specific years not listed).
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment; knowledge of all equipment and materials required for procedures; completion of department‑specific competencies within the provisional period.
