Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City
Shift: Full Time (4 10‑hr shifts/week)
Schedule:
8 a‑6:30 p; occasional nights and weekends with a 30‑minute response time.
Opportunity to float to Mercy's new outpatient digestive health institute (Kathryn Ann Meinders).
OverviewInterventional Resource Nurses utilize theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice. Duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients in accordance with standards of nursing practice. Perform duties consistent with the mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience (required)
- Preferred: 2 years of critical‑care experience and at least 6 months of GI endoscopy experience
- Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications may be required or obtainable within the department timeframe: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, C‑EFM, and other unit‑specific certifications
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as required
