Position: Travel RN – Med/Surg & ICU (36h/week)

Travel Registered Nurse
- Medical/Surgical (M/S)

Job Type: Travel Contract.

Shift: Days, 36hr Week (3x12).

Location:

Macon, GA. Requirements:
Must have 2yrs M/S Tele experience during the past 3yrs. Updated resume, Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS - AHA or Red Cross) preferred, current drivers license (DL), and an active Georgia or Compact RN license.

Qualified candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations. Local & travel allowed.

Required Skills/

Experience:

  • Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate Heart Rate but not Blood Pressure
  • Strong clinical assessment and med‑surg nursing skills for Level 1 Trauma Hospital
  • IV insertion and care, central line management
  • Wound care and post op monitoring
  • Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
  • Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
  • Discharge planning and patient education management

Required Credentials:

  • BCR (Basic Cardiac Rythm) required – meaning traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of Compliance

Preferred Credentials:
National certification
- Medical‑Surgical certification.

Parking:
Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks. Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts on a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)
  • Holiday Requirements:
    Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements:
All adult med surg / telemetry units in house. 14 days maximum time off.

Travel Registered Nurse – Hospice (Regional Support)

We’re looking for a Hospice RN – Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician—temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps. If you’re energized by new settings, adaptable to change, and passionate about purpose‑driven care, this role could be a perfect fit.

As a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients
  • Manage and implement individualized plans of care
  • Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)
  • Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs
  • Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols
  • Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety
  • Participate in the on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours care as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team
  • Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance
  • Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs
