The Quality Engineer role is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Integrated Management System, the ISO 9001 standard, and customer‑specific quality requirements. This position supports auditing, quality control, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining system integrity across the business unit. The role also leads structured problem‑solving activities and drives quality performance through data analysis and process optimization.
What you’ll do:- Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System, ISO 9001 standards, and customer quality requirements
- Plan and execute internal quality audits and support external audit processes
- Maintain and update quality documentation, systems, and tools including iGrafx and related platforms
- Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D
- Monitor, analyze, and improve quality KPIs through data collection and reporting
- Communicate quality issues and collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve non‑conformances
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities across the operation
- Participate in Gemba activities to collect and analyze operational data
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and customer regulations
- Perform additional duties aligned with business needs and operational priorities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- Knowledge of quality management systems and document control processes
- Experience with problem‑solving methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, and Ishikawa
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Core Tools such as FMEA and process mapping systems
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Combination of warehouse and office environment
- Frequent movement across the warehouse floor to support quality activities
- Exposure to operational equipment, production areas, and varying noise levels
- Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor
