Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports quality assurance activities by managing supplier quality, conducting process audits, supporting customer quality requirements, analyzing quality data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with Production, Engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Support supplier quality activities, including audits, inspections, and performance tracking.
- Conduct process audits and support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
- Investigate customer quality concerns and provide timely responses and solutions.
- Analyze quality data, inspection reports, and test results.
- Maintain quality documentation and provide customer-requested quality data.
- Support quality system development, training, and special projects.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering to improve product and process quality.
Required
- Minimum 2 years of automotive quality experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- QMS auditing experience.
- Experience with Plex and/or Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of Toyota and Mazda quality systems.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
