Salary Range: $13.00 To $13.00 Hourly

We are looking for a Donation Center Attendant who is passionate about serving others and making a difference. Alabama Goodwill Industries (AGI) is a non‑profit dedicated to helping change lives through the power of work by providing employment development services and placement assistance. Our programs are supported by profits generated through the sale of donated goods in our Retail Stores.

• Ensures 100% donor and customer delight.
• Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds; unloads donations from vehicles, offers tax receipts, and maintains accurate daily counts of donations.
• Sorts donations and secures items to be transported to stores and warehouse.
• Keeps a record of donations.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies in an efficient manner. Responsible to secure and appropriately use those supplies.
• Adheres to all AGI personnel policies and procedures; follows good safety and security practices, including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the operations leadership team and/or risk management.
• Maintains a positive attitude, regardless of weather and conditions.

• Read, write, and communicate verbally and perform basic math skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Open availability is needed.
• Ability to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Must have reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Drug screen and background check are required.

• Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extensive periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
