You will be part of an Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. The role takes place in a variety of areas including merch, make‑on‑demand, customer returns, Prime Now, and general fulfillment. Responsibilities include selecting, packing, and shipping orders, sometimes for the 2‑hour or less delivery service.

• Receive and put away inventory
• Get customer orders ready and pack them
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read barcodes on products
• View prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure products meet quality requirements
• Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver; work at heights up to 40ft where applicable. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.

• Lift up to 49lb
• Push utility carts up to 60lb
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 40ft on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

• Safety: protective gear is provided; safety tips are shared daily
• Surroundings: work around moving machines – order pickers, stand‑up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts
• Activity: may require standing in one place for long periods, walking, or climbing stairs
• Temperature: warehouse temperatures can range from 60°F to 90°F; truck yards or trailers may exceed 90°F on hot days
• Noise: can be noisy at times; hearing protection is available if needed
• Dress code: relaxed; closed‑toe shoes required; protective safety footwear required in certain units. Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code toward shoe purchase.
