Job Description We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces, as well as other rooms, that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for remodeling, and the ability to maintain relationships with clients throughout the design process.
The Kitchen Designer will also engage in outside sales activities to promote our services and products.
Responsibilities
• Cultivate leads and follow through entire process from design to site delivery and installation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen design needs and preferences.
• Create innovative kitchen layouts that maximize space and functionality.
• Present design concepts through sketches, renderings, and product demos.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the remodeling process to ensure satisfaction.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while providing exceptional customer service.
• Market kitchen design services through networking and community engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide informed recommendations.
• Organize project timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with and support design team - (through out double check system)
• Maintain ongoing communication with vendors and subcontractors throughout the remodeling process.
Experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attentive listener
• Experience in outside sales or client relationship management
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Work independently or as a team in an open concept office
• Strong math skills
• Industry knowledge and involvement
• Ability to trouble shoot/ problem solve a plus
