Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (PreK) working onsite in a school setting in Madison, CT. The position offers full-time hours and focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to young learners with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to PreK students
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid State certification in Special Education (certifications 001, 002, 008, 112, or 113 required)
• Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly in Special Education settings
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
