Our Lady of Mercy Preparatory Academy is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and student-centered Middle School Science Teacher for Grades 6-8. OLM Prep is a Catholic independent school dedicated to academic excellence, character development, faith formation, and fostering a joyful love of learning.

Responsibilities:

* Teach Middle School Science to students in Grades 6-8

* Design and deliver engaging, hands-on science instruction

* Conduct laboratory experiments and dissections safely and effectively

* Foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

* Maintain an organized, safe, and active science laboratory

* Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

Qualifications:

* Teaching experience prefered

* Strong classroom management skills are essential

* Ability to establish high expectations while building positive relationships with students

* Experience planning and conducting laboratory investigations and dissections

* Bachelor's degree and teaching certification required
