The Madison Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Special Education Program Coordinator at Daniel Hand High School, commencing the school year.
Job RequirementsApplicants must hold or be eligible to apply for a CT certification endorsed for Administration (092) and Special Education (165).
Responsibilities- Providing professional development for special education teachers and support staff
- Supervise and evaluate special education teachers and support staff
- Case Manager for out-of-district high school special education
- Assist in transitions to Grade 9 and post-graduation
- Facilitate the writing of data-driven IEPs
- Monitor all IEP timelines at the high school level
- Work with the Director of Special Education to develop SPED programming
10 month / 192 days
SalaryAs per the provisions of the salary schedule of the MEA contract, along with Program Coordinator Stipend.
