Job summary:

The physical therapist utilizes a comprehensive evaluation based on accepted professional standards to assess patient needs and function status, devises and implements appropriate treatment plans to promote the highest level of patient self-sufficiency, regularly re-assesses the efficacy of treatment plans, provides appropriate education to patients and their families and progresses patients toward goals and outcomes that reflect improved independence.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides direct patient care (evaluation and treatment).
  • Performs appropriate written communication.
  • Interacts professionally through clinical communication.
  • Maintains state of the art training and education for job role.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree, or eligibility in physical therapy required.
  • Master's or doctorate degree preferred.
  • Current CT physical therapy license or eligibility required.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.

Work schedule:

Full-time, Monday – Friday.
