Position DescriptionIndividual will perform skilled maintenance, installation and repair work on both the buildings and building equipment. Individuals must be able to perform skilled work in connection with the installation, removal, operations and maintenance of the buildings, building equipment and other related physical plant. Bargaining unit Teal Book employees with contractual rights to this position will be given first consideration.
Duties include- Making scheduled tests and inspections
- Determining necessary work on building equipment and fixtures including but not limited to the HVAC system, plumbing, refrigeration equipment, electrical, lighting systems, compressed air systems, water cooled chillers, and DDC building automation systems.
- Five years related experience in Mechanical / HVAC system maintenance in a Commercial / Industrial environment required.
- Individuals must have CT / S-1 or S-2 license.
The salary range for this position starts at Step 1 $ 53.52 and progresses in accordance with the union contract.
