Facility Monitor:Beach & Recreation and Senior Services
Hours of Work: Part time, hours can vary
Salary Range: Hourly, minimum wage
The Town of Madison is accepting applications for the position of Facility Monitor. This position is located in the Beach & Recreation or the Senior Center for the Town. Minimum age requirement is 16 years old. Candidate must possess a current Standard First Aid and Community CPR/AED certification. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable interacting with the public. Ability to work independently and take direction effectively. Comfortable answering phones and providing general information. Responsible, reliable and proactive in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Candidate must be able to successfully complete a complex background investigation and drug screening.
PositionPurpose
Responsible for overseeing the safe and orderly use of three waterfront parks and the Senior Center. Under the supervision of Department leadership, the Facility Monitor ensures facilities are prepared for daily operations, enforces town rules and regulations, supports event rentals and provides excellent customer service to the public. Supervise and monitor activity at designated waterfront areas and the Senior Center. Open and prepare parking lots and facilities for daily use.
Clean and maintain gate guard huts and parking areas daily. Assist with event setup and breakdown; ensure renters follow usage guidelines. Secure all facilities at designated closing times; ensuring doors are locked, equipment is turned off and areas are returned to original condition. Provide basic First Aid or CPR in emergency situations.
