Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support core accounting and close responsibilities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

This role requires a technically strong, independent accounting professional with a solid understanding of GAAP, corporate reporting standards, internal controls, and month-end close processes. The position is a senior-level individual contributor role and may provide functional guidance or informal mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the monthly fiscal close process, including journal entries and subledger activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Analyze financial results, including budget-to-actual variance reporting and interpretation of key performance drivers
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and manage accruals related to payroll, benefits, and operational expenses
• Take ownership of assigned accounts, proactively identifying issues that could impact financial statement integrity
• Support special projects, including process improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and group-wide finance programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn tools such as Power BI, One Stream, Oracle Fusion, or other ERP systems
