Our client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join their team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be an essential part of the Member Support Department supporting daily financial transactions and member inquiries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $17-$20/hr

** Shift:
** 8am-4:30pm M-F

** What's the Job?*
* + Assist members with financial transactions in a courteous and professional manner.

+ Disburse funds by cash, check, or transfer, and accurately record each transaction into the credit union's data processing system.

+ Open and close accounts, CDs, and review reports to verify account statuses and process delinquent notices.

+ Assist members with completing loan applications, discussing options, and collecting necessary documentation.

+ Process payroll changes, monitor ACH transactions, and ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School graduation or equivalent.

+

Experience with cash handling and familiarity with computers.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and work harmoniously with team members.

+ Physical ability to perform office tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds regularly.

+ Must be bondable and willing to cross-train for additional duties as needed.
